Mountaineer Pavillion

Walhalla is an old gold mining town in Victoria, my partner’s parents had an old shack in Coopers Creek (very near by) where they spent many happy days. In 2018 we visited the area and on one very still night in early February night I wandered down the main road and took some photos of this beautiful old town.  The pavillion had caught my eye earlier in the day and I hoped it would make a great nightscape subject.  A little bit early in the season for the Milky Way but the number of stars you could see was amazing!
